Cookies

We and our Service Providers use cookies and other technologies for various reasons. For example, we use cookies and other technologies to make it easy to access our services by remembering you when you return, to provide and analyse our services, and to learn more about our users and their likely interests. We want you to be informed about our use of these technologies, so this notice explains the types of technologies we use, what they do and your choices regarding their use.

  1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are commonly stored on your device when you browse and use websites and online services. They are uniquely assigned to your device and are sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit or to another website that recognises that cookie. Some of the cookies used by the ITB Website and App are set by us, and some are set by third parties who are delivering services (such as web analytics) on our behalf.

  1. Why does ITB use cookies?

We and our Service Providers may use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary to provide our Website and App service. For example, we or our Service Providers may use these cookies to authenticate and identify our subscribers when they use the ITB Website or App, so that we can provide our service to them. They also help us to enforce our T&C, prevent fraud and maintain the security of our service.
  • Performance and functionality cookies: These cookies are not essential, but they help us to personalise and enhance your online experience with ITB. For example, they help us to remember your preferences and prevent you from needing to re-enter information you previously provided (for example, during subscription registration). We also use these cookies to collect information (such as popular pages, viewing patterns, click-through and other information) about our customers’ use of the ITB Service so that we can enhance and personalise the ITB Website and App and conduct market research. Deletion of these types of cookies will result in limited functionality of the ITB Service.
  1. How can I exercise choice regarding cookies and other types of online tracking?
  • By using the ITB Website and/or App, you agree that we can place cookies on your computer or device as explained above. However, you can control and manage cookies in various ways. Please bear in mind that removing or blocking cookies can impact on your user experience and parts of the ITB Website and/or App may no longer be fully accessible.
  • Browser controls
    • Most browsers will allow you to see what cookies you have and delete them on an individual basis or block cookies from particular or all websites. Be aware that any preference you have set will be lost if you delete all cookies, including your preference to opt-out from cookies as this itself requires an opt-out cookie to have been set. For more information on how to modify your browser settings to block or filter cookies, seehttp://www.aboutcookies.org/ or http://www.cookiecentral.com/faq/.
  • Managing Analytics cookies
  • Managing Local Shared Objects or Flash Cookies
    • A local shared object or flash cookie is like most other browser cookies except that it can store additional types of information. These cookies cannot be controlled using the mechanisms listed above. Some parts of the ITB Website and/or App use these types of cookies to store user preferences for media player functionality and without them some video content may not play properly. These cookies can be controlled manually by visiting the Adobe website:
